Family Friendly Plans


  • Flexible schedules give Innovators (our employees) start and stop times to accommodate personal needs.
  • Paid Time Off (PTO) plan provides income replacement for time away from work. 144 hours per year for new Innovators with time accruing the first day you begin work. Increased to 184 hours annually after 5 years of employment.

Luna Innovations provides reimbursement for, and encourages participation in professional conferences, seminars and trade shows. Our Tuition Assistance Program reimburses tuition and fees for approved courses (three credit hours per semester) between 80-90 percent depending on the Innovator’s final grade. Innovators may take leave to further their education through courses related to work. Luna provides fee reimbursements to Innovators who voluntarily join appropriate, job-related professional organizations, up to $250 per year.
