Luna Speaking at NanoBusiness Alliance 2008 in New York City


(ROANOKE, VA, May 1, 2008) – Luna Innovations Incorporated will participate in the NanoBusiness Alliance’s 2008 NanoBusiness Conference on May 4-6, 2008, in New York City, N.Y. Charles Gause, Vice President of Corporate Business Development, will speak on a panel titled "Biological Imaging" on May 5, at 4 p.m. This panel will explore the various nano-enabled solutions to enhancing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and the impact these will have on the healthcare industry.

Luna has proprietary nanomaterials in development for use as a next-generation contrast agent to safely enhance the quality of images obtained from MRI. Additionally, Luna is investigating the development of a portfolio of diagnostic agents to improve the detection and management of specific diseases. For more details see this recent release.
