Luna Innovations Hires Vice President and General Counsel

Fourd Kemper joins Luna Innovations as Vice President and General Counsel

ROANOKE, VA, Dec. 9, 2008 - Luna Innovations Incorporated has hired Fourd Kemper as Vice President and General Counsel at its corporate headquarters in Roanoke, Va. Kemper previously was a principal with the law firm Woods Rogers PLC in Roanoke, focused on securities law, intellectual property, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital financing and the general representation of entrepreneurial companies.

 

Kemper is actively involved in the Roanoke community, serving as Director of Downtown Roanoke, Inc.; Treasurer and Director of Opera Roanoke; Director of Valley Forward; and was past President of Pathfinders for Greenways, Inc. He received a degree in Economics from Duke University and his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. He was recently named to the Virginia Bar Association Business Section Council.
