Kent Murphy - Virginia's SBIR Entrepeneur of the Year

Established in 1998, the Small Business Innovations Research’s Entrepreneur award recognizes the individuals who have achieved outstanding success in innovation and innovative capabilities that lead to pivotal new products or process technologies.
Luna Innovations’ President, Kent Murphy, is the recipient of this year’s award. The presentation was made by Virginia’s Secretary of Technology, Don Upson, at the 7th Annual Virginia Small Business and Innovation Research and Development Workshop held in Charlottesville on Sept 12, 2001.
